Endometriosis affects an estimated 1 in 10 women during their reproductive years. Symptoms of endometriosis include pelvic pain, painful periods, painful intercourse and infertility.
Sonacare offers the highest quality imaging assessment for the investigation of endometriosis, using an advanced ultrasound technique called gel sonovaginog

Sonacare offers the highest quality imaging assessment for the investigation of endometriosis, using an advanced ultrasound technique called gel sonovaginograpy (or gel SVG).
All endometriosis scans are performed by our Gynaecologist and Ultrasound Specialist(Obs/Gyn), A/Prof Reid.
Gel SVG has a very high accuracy (>90%) for the diagnosis of bowel endometriosis. A normal gel SVG scan means there is a very high likelihood (>95%) that you do not have any deep endometriosis nodules in the pelvis.

A/Professor Reid is an experienced Gynaecologist who specialises in the the medical and surgical management of a wide range of gynaecological issues. She performs minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy) for the treatment of complex pelvic disease, including excision of endometriosis.
